The Importance of Satin

Most items that touch your hair are made of cotton (think about pillowcases, sheets, towels, etc). Cotton is really soft, but it’s also really good at absorbing moisture. This can bad for your hair causing dryness and breakage. To prevent this, it’s important to wear a satin bonnet or durag to retain the moisture in your hair.
